Jet Aviation is seeking an experienced, polished, and highly capable Cabin Attendant to join our private aviation team based in Opa‑locka, Florida. If you have a passion for creating seamless, luxurious inflight experiences and thrive in an environment where discretion and attention to detail are everything, this role offers an exceptional opportunity to represent one of the world’s most respected names in business aviation.
Responsibilities
This is not your standard flight attendant role. Operating aboard a Gulfstream 500, you will be the sole architect of the passenger experience—from the moment you begin pre‑flight preparations to the final post‑flight follow‑through. Working closely with the Pilot‑in‑Command, you’ll ensure every journey is safe, smooth, and tailored to the unique preferences of our high‑profile clientele. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities include:
- Flight Operations & Safety: Conduct thorough preflight cabin checks, report any maintenance concerns, and ensure all safety equipment is ready. Assist passengers with luggage, seating, and special needs, deliver safety briefings when required, and take confident control of the cabin during medical or aircraft emergencies.
- Cabin Presentation & Service: Manage every detail of the inflight experience—including sourcing vendors, preparing exquisite meals, maintaining pristine cabin condition, managing linens and supplies, and serving beverages that match passenger preferences.
- Administrative Excellence: Update detailed client profiles, complete post‑trip reports, manage expense accounts, and stay current with all required training and aircraft‑specific manuals.
- Leadership: When flying with contract or part‑time crew members, lead and mentor them on the ground and in the air, representing Jet Aviation as a trusted ambassador to both industry partners and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
This role demands a seasoned professional who takes pride in anticipating needs before they are expressed. To be considered, you should have:
- Credentials: Completion of Flight Safety International (or equivalent) corporate Cabin Attendant recurrent training, plus MedAire Management of Inflight Illness and Injury certification or CPR/AED equivalent.
- Experience: A minimum of four years in a similar corporate aviation role, with at least two years of experience in high‑end culinary service or luxury hospitality.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work a variable schedule that includes extended trips, holidays, and weekends.
- Global Readiness: Ability to travel extensively worldwide with no restrictions.
- License & Age: A valid driver’s license with a clean record, and you must be at least 21 years of age.
Desired Qualities
- Team spirit: Strong interpersonal skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
- Commitment to excellence: A quality‑driven approach and dedication to representing Jet Aviation as an industry leader.
- Passion for mentoring: The ability to inspire and train others while maintaining a friendly, approachable demeanor that creates unforgettable experiences for passengers.
Physical & Working Conditions
- Physical demands: Regular use of hands, standing, walking, sitting, and occasional climbing, kneeling, or crouching. Frequent lifting and moving of items up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting. Good vision across various ranges and depths is essential.
- Work environments: Operation in settings that range from heavy maintenance hangars to upscale customer spaces. Exposure to aircraft arrivals and departures, high noise levels, vibrations, and occasional fuel fumes. Changing weather and seasonal temperature extremes in hangar settings.
- Global travel: The opportunity to travel the world while delivering Jet Aviation’s signature standard of excellence.
