You'll drive automation initiatives, roll out new technologies across markets, and serve as the go-to network expert for our Operations team. This role blends hands-on technical work-troubleshooting, configuration, vendor management-with mentorship and process improvement, all while delivering exceptional customer experiences. <p style="-webkit-user-drag: none; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: transparent; padding: 0px; user-select: text; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 20.5042px; font-variant-ligatures: none !important;" data-contrast="auto">Key Responsibilities <ul> <li style="line-height: 115%;">Work closely within the Operations team to ensure fast, smooth roll-out of new designs and products;</li> <li style="line-height: 115%;">Identify and take ownership for opportunities to automate repeatable networking tasks through creation and maintenance of scripts and tools;</li> <li style="line-height: 115%;">Plan and execute scheduled maintenance for network growth and upgrades;</li> <li style="line-height: 115%;">Configure and deploy new technologies and equipment in multiple markets;</li> <li style="line-height: 115%;">Act as a reference for the Operations team on network related subjects;</li> <li style="line-height: 115%;">Work with customers when needed, providing a great customer experience;</li> <li style="line-height: 115%;">Work with network providers to activate new services or troubleshoot existing services;</li> <li style="line-height: 115%;">Work with network vendors/manufacturers for troubleshooting and case management;</li> <li style="line-height: 115%;">Troubleshoot networking, routing, and interconnectivity issues, including troubleshooting of network device configuration for routers;</li> <li style="line-height: 115%;">Deliver customer centric solutions and processes that are simple, sustainable, and repeatable;</li> <li style="line-height: 115%;">Create and review documentation and process regarding recurring issues, new standard operating procedures, knowledge transfer material, etc.;</li> <li style="line-height: 115%;">Contribute through innovation to the reduction in the end-to-end cost of delivery;</li> <li style="line-height: 115%;">Mentor other 5C staff and peers on network administration and innovation and conduct training sessions as needed;</li> <li style="line-height: 115%;">Participate in on-call rotation.</li> </ul> <p style="-webkit-user-drag: none; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: transparent; padding: 0px; user-select: text; font-size: 11pt; line-height: 19.6917px; font-variant-ligatures: none !important;" data-contrast="auto">Qualifications <ul> <li style="line-height: 115%;">Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or a data related field;</li> <li style="line-height: 115%;">5 years operating networks with experience in Juniper, Cisco, and optical network equipment;</li> <li style="line-height: 115%;">Significant experience with networking protocols and concepts: BGP, OSPF, TCP, UDP, HSRP/VRRP, DNS, ARP, Tunnels & Port Channeling;</li> <li style="line-height: 115%;">Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail;</li> <li style="line-height: 115%;">Ability to participate in on-call duties are an expected part of this position;</li> <li style="line-height: 115%;">Experience dealing with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure;</li> <li style="line-height: 115%;">Demonstrated ability to be customer-service oriented;</li> <li style="line-height: 115%;">Ability to build and maintain collaboration with internal and external partners;</li> <li style="line-height: 115%;">Strong written and verbal communication skills (French and English);</li> <li style="line-height: 115%;">Software development/scripting skills are highly desired - specifically Python, NETCONF, Ansible;</li> <li style="line-height: 115%;">Working experience with Spine-Leaf architecture (EVPN with VXLAN);</li> <li style="line-height: 115%;">CCNA/CCNP/JNCIA/JNCIS certifications a plus. </li> </ul> <p style="-webkit-user-drag: none;
