Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through Amazon’s approved 3rd party Direct Source provider for the duration of the specified project and will not be an employee of Amazon.</em></p><p><br></p><ul><li>We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Quality Assurance Technician to join our Hardware Test Engineering team.</li><li>The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, a natural problem-solver, and someone who takes ownership of their work.</li><li>In this role, you will collaborate closely with Hardware Developers, Product Managers, and Quality Engineers to uphold the integrity of our production and development environments.</li><li>You will identify use cases, design and execute test cases, and deliver clear, actionable results throughout the development lifecycle.</li><li>In addition to core test responsibilities, you will play a critical role in maturing our foundation models by conducting extensive manual Teleoperation sessions to collect high-quality, real-world task data.</li><li>This data collection effort directly enables the robot to perform tasks independently and is tied to our year-end S-team demonstration goal.</li></ul><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform maintenance, repair, and calibration of test equipment and fixtures</li><li>Set up and execute tests, experiments, and verification activities for system components</li><li>Conduct manual TeleOp sessions to collect large volumes of task data for training and maturing foundation models</li><li>Support environmental testing efforts including vibration and thermal testing</li><li>Assist in the creation of test cases and test plans and maintain and update existing test documentation</li><li>Collect, analyze, and report test data and author and contribute to formal test reports</li><li>Provide structured feedback to cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements across all phases of data collection</li><li>Partner with internal teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and process issues</li><li>Support design and test engineers during prototype builds and development phases</li><li>Conduct functional and environmental testing in alignment with program requirements</li><li>Handle confidential information with professionalism, integrity, and discretion</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Associates degree or equivalent, plus 2 to 4 years of industry experience in software and electro-mechanical testing</li><li>Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as a Hardware Technician</li><li>Strong electro-mechanical aptitude with familiarity in tools and measurement devices</li><li>Solid computer skills with the ability to work with test software and data systems</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li></ul><p><strong>About the Team:</strong></p><ul><li>The Quality Assurance Technician serves as the central point of contact within the Hardware Test Engineering Team, providing critical support to Mechanical, Electrical, Software, and Automation teams.</li><li>Day-to-day responsibilities include test plan execution, test fixture assembly support, data analysis, TeleOp data collection for foundation model development, and maintenance of active test floors.</li><li>You will be the driving force that keeps operations running smoothly and ensures the team delivers high-quality results consistently.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>This posting is for a contract assignment with Tundra Technical Solutions to provide services to Amazon.</p><p><br></p><p>The pay range that Tundra in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $31.81/hour - $36.06/hour.</p><p><br></p><p>Tundra’s benefits offering includes optional medical, dental, vision, retirement benefits, and a New Child Benefit.</p><p><br></p><p><em>Pursuant to the California Fair Chance Act, Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers, Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, and San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, qualified applicants will be considered for assignment with arrest and conviction records.
