Position Summary As a Captain at Jet Aviation, you will hold full responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of state-of-the-art aircraft. You will lead your crew, manage complex domestic and global flight missions, and act as a brand ambassador, embodying our core values of trust, honesty, and transparency. Key Responsibilities Exercise command authority over all assigned flights, ensuring compliance with federal, local, and company regulations. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems to manage flight operations with precision. Serve as the In-Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) and conduct passenger safety briefings. Maintain a proactive approach to safety by reporting hazards and managing aircraft discrepancies. Ensure administrative accuracy by managing trip documentation and aircraft manuals in accordance with company procedures. Represent the Jet Aviation brand with a professional demeanor and a focus on delivering an exceptional client experience. Qualifications and Requirements Certifications: Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and an FAA First Class Medical. Flight Experience: 3,500 hours total fixed-wing time; 1,500 hours Pilot in Command; 1,500 hours Multi-Engine; 500 hours Turbo-Jet; 500 hours Turbine; 100 hours Night; 75 hours Simulated Instrument. Education: High school diploma required; college degree preferred. Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Availability: Ability to work a variable schedule and travel extensively worldwide with no restrictions. Preferred Skills: Appropriate aircraft type rating and currency; strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Physical Requirements and Work Environment This role requires the ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, kneel, and crouch. Candidates must be able to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting. The work environment is dynamic, spanning from maintenance hangars to upscale client environments, involving potential exposure to high noise levels, vibrations, and aviation fuels. Compensation and Benefits The anticipated salary range for this position is $165,000 to $180,000, determined by experience and geographic location.
