<p><strong>Neuro ICU RN Assignment in Brooklyn, NY </strong></p><p><strong>Summary</strong></p><p>We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse -Surgical/ Neuro ICU to join a reputable hospital in Brooklyn, NY. This role is crucial in providing high-quality patient care in critical settings, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible treatment and support during their recovery.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Days and Night shift available, 13-week assignment</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Participates in the orientation of nursing staff.</li><li>Assumes charge responsibilities as delegated by the Nurse/Manager designee.</li><li>Ensures appropriate coverage of all patients by assisting and relieving co-workers, and working on other units as assigned.</li><li>Maintains a safe, therapeutic environment for patients, significant others, and staff.</li><li>Serves as a clinical resource for student nurses.</li><li>Participates in meetings, committees, conferences, and educational programs.</li><li>Participates in research and pilot projects supported by the Nursing Department.</li><li>Demonstrates responsibility for continuing professional growth and education, including attendance at staff development and continuing education programs, pursuance of baccalaureate/graduate degrees in nursing, and appropriate professional certifications.</li><li>Participates in appropriate professional and community organizations.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>BSN prepared</li><li>3 -5 years’ experience in a Level I or II Trauma Center</li><li>TCAR, BLS, ACLS, PALS, AHA Stroke certification.</li><li>Competent in CRRT machine operation, vent/tracheostomy and gastrostomy tubes, medication titration, and A-lines.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Weekly Pay: </strong>$2,415 (based off of 34.5 hours)</p><p><br></p><p><strong>TO APPLY: </strong>If you are ready to make a difference in patients' lives while advancing your career, we invite you to apply today.
