Together, these programs contribute to making Walnut Creek a regional destination by promoting arts appreciation and personal enrichment, community engagement and volunteerism, and fitness and wellness. The primary responsibilities of this position will be assisting with recreation program administration and customer service including following procedures and protocols, working in basic software and general front office support. This individual must be comfortable working with the public, especially seniors and individuals looking for resources while also multi-tasking to make sure daily tasks are completed. The ideal candidate will feel comfortable working independently and regularly enjoys learning and trying new things. </span></p><p style="color: rgb(0,0,0);font-style: normal;text-indent: 0.0px;"><strong><span style="color: rgb(0,0,0);">REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:</span></strong></p><p style="color: rgb(0,0,0);font-style: normal;text-indent: 0.0px;"><span style="color: rgb(0,0,0);">These positions are key members of collaborative customer service teams in a heavy public contact environment. Some additional duties an Office Specialist may be responsible for include (and are not limited to)<br><br></span><ul><li><span style="color: rgb(0,0,0);">Review applications for City programs, employment, or activities, and determine if requirements are met;
