THE PROFESSIONAL GROUP is seeking a qualified Passenger Services Agent Full and Part Time.

JOB TITLE: PASSENGER SERVICE AGENT

Description:

The main responsibilities of this position are:

  • Check-in passengers.
  • Verify passengers’ documentation.

  • Accept check-in and carry-on baggage to ensure compliance with company requirements.

  • Direct passengers to boarding areas.

  • Re-accommodate passengers in case of missed connections/cancellations/delays. When required, escort passengers to the designated hotel, assure that agreed services are provided by the hotel, and provide information regarding flight status, and coordinate wake-up and pick-up.

  • Issue accountable documents (MCO, TKTs, etc.).

  • Complete documentation required to clear aircraft upon arrival and/or departure.

  • Open lost baggage claims.

  • Gate responsibilities on aircraft’s departure and/or arrival.

  • Limited release for broken baggage

  • Other responsibilities of similar nature to be assigned by operational leaders.

Qualifications:

· High school degree.

· Strong customer service background.

· Amadeus (GDS) and Sabre a plus.

· Fluency in English and Spanish. Portuguese is a plus.

Competencies:

· Excellent communication skills in multiple languages.

· Calm while working under pressure.

· Work closely with company clients while demonstrating proper level of empathy.

· Understand the clients’ expectations, needs and responsibilities.

· Available and cordial while performing check-in duties.

· Ability to transmit credibility through his/her transparency and precision while providing service or general information to customers.

· Customer service skills.
