Provide technical support to students, faculty, and staff at Rutgers University. Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity. Communicate effectively with customers to understand and address their technical needs. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of support requests and resolutions. Collaborate with other members of the IT Support team to identify and implement solutions. Stay up-to-date on the latest technology and software updates, and provide recommendations for improvement. Assist with the maintenance and inventory of IT equipment. Create and maintain user accounts and access permissions as needed. Assist with the setup and maintenance of audio-visual equipment for events and meetings. Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for all users. Follow IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and confidentiality of university data. Attend training sessions and meetings to enhance technical knowledge and skills. Proactively identify and report any potential security risks or vulnerabilities. Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by the IT Support team.
