Job Description
Assists Lift Station Operator to meet Texas Commission Environmental Quality (TCEQ) regulations. Inspects and maintains water treatment plant systems, lift station, and sewer lines to ensure proper operations.Essential Functions/Job Competencies/Physical Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by employees in this job. Employees may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.- Helps maintain plants to ensure they are in proper operating condition.
- Cleans and performs preventative maintenance on equipment and tools.
- Inspects and maintains lift station and pumps.
- Repairs and installs valves, plugs, pipes, lateral/drain lines, and sewer manhole rings and covers.
- Prepares and completes concrete work; conducts traffic control.
- Serves on-call for equipment-related emergencies.
- Performs related work as required.

- Handheld tools and equipment, such as a sledgehammer, cutter, ratchets, measuring tape, or heavy bars.
