Hourly pay rate: Up to $21.25 Job Overview: Join our dynamic Amazon warehouse team and play a crucial role in preparing orders for our valued customers. In a fast-paced, physical environment, you will engage in various activities including selection, packing, and shipping orders—sometimes for our speedy (2-hour or less) delivery service. Duties & Responsibilities Here are some of the key duties you will carry out:<ol><li>Receive and organize inventory</li><li>Prepare and pack customer orders</li><li>Load boxes onto trucks for shipment</li><li>Use scanners to track inventory through bar codes</li><li>Follow on-screen prompts and directions</li><li>Troubleshoot any issues</li><li>Meet quality standards for all products</li><li>Operate power industrial trucks, such as forklifts or pallet drivers, and work at heights up to 35 feet (training provided at no cost)</li></ol>You should also be able to:<ol><li>Lift up to 49 pounds</li><li>Push utility carts weighing up to 60 pounds</li><li>Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts</li><li>Utilize carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other equipment for moving items</li><li>Navigate stairs (if applicable)</li><li>Work at heights of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine (if applicable)</li><li>Adhere to strict safety, quality, and production standards</li></ol>What it's like at an Amazon Fulfillment Center<ol><li>Safety: Your safety is our priority.
